Stockholm, Sweden — January 26, 2014
We got married in the snow.
Not in front of a crowd.
Not as a performance.
Just—
because it was time.
We met in September 2009.
On Craigslist.
Missed Connections.
Which, even now, feels slightly absurd.
And yet—
it worked.
What started as something small and improbable turned into:
a life in Seattle
a home on Galer Street
two dachshunds who took over everything
years of building something real
And then—
Stockholm.
It was cold.
That clean, Scandinavian kind of cold where everything feels sharper, quieter, more intentional.
Snow falling steadily.
The city moving at its own pace.
And somewhere inside all of that—
we got married.
No chaos.
No noise.
Just a decision—
made clearly.
Most weddings disappear.
Into:
camera rolls
old links
fragmented memory
This one doesn’t.
This is a place where it stays:
the story
the day
the feeling
All of it, held together.
We met in a way that shouldn’t have worked.
Built a life that did.
And got married in a city that felt like it was holding the moment for us.
This is where it lives now.
Forever.
